The butterfly

The Butterfly is a 7 second looping GIF that cycles through most colors of the rainbow. The inner wings, and parts of the outer wings, cycle through multiple colors.

The Butterfly GIF is designed to simply inspire awe and serve as eye candy.

its time!

It's Time is a humorous GIF in which a clock counts down to 3:15pm. When the timer reaches 3:15pm, the bells vehemently vibrates (serving as an alarm.)

The GIF is hand-drawn, and therefore I think has a more personalized feel and adds to a stronger animation. Hand drawing the GIF also helps to liven up the image by showing that it is not a serious GIF; it is supposed to be cute and funny (compared to a picture perfect clock.)

Do you know the significance of 3:15pm?

The-Lighthouse.gif

The Lighthouse

This serene lighthouse has just realized that a large thunderstorm is coming their way, and the lighthouse is not ready for such a storm. Thus the lighthouse begins to send an S.O.S. signal via morse code.

Unfortunately for the lighthouse, the thunderstorm arrives before help does. One zap of lightning hits, destroying the luminating light ... and who knows, maybe the rest of the lighthouse.

This fantasy-like GIF is meant to deliver a sense of mystery, awe, and quite possibly horror, to the viewer.

It's a new day

In this hopeful and inspiring GIF, the dark and dreary rainstorm turns into a bright and sunny day; the cold landscape, accompanied by pouring rain and dreary skies transition into a clear, sunny, and warm day.

The takeaway message here is that no matter the worst day, there is always a chance for things to turn turn around for the best.

This was the 4th GIF I designed, and after the previous GIF, which was the cold and dark Lighthouse GIF, I figured I should focus on the opposite theme and make something warm and fuzzy!
