Painted by Karen Biermen, this picture represents the Biermen homestead from the eyes of a whale (hence the name Whaleseye).

Whaleseye farm/homestead is located right next to the beach. Due to being right next to the beach, Whaleseye is not very muddy, nor are there bugs around the farm/homestead.

Rick and Karen stay at their farm/homestead all year.

Most of the food that is eaten at the camp is natural and organic, with 50% of the food grown in the gardens there.

This is the woodsplitter that we used frequently. To use it, simply lay a piece of wood down on the flat surface next to the blade, then simply pull the lever (next to the blade) to move the head

Tools created by the woodsplitter: many different sizes of wood
